I’m not a morning person (can you tell?) So I love a good pick-me-up when I wake up. With my sensitive stomach, coffee is not an option… so I created a nourishing drink that gives me a little caffeine boost and tastes AMAZING. The nettle is a source of iron, the slippery elm and lemon balm are soothing for my gut, and the other ingredients make it taste great! You can make a batch for the week and keep it in the fridge to enjoy hot or cold every day.
Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water
1 tsp Nettle Leaf Tea
1 tsp Lemon Balm Tea
1 tsp Slippery Elm powder
1 tsp Cinnamon powder
1 cup Almond Milk
3 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
½ tsp salt
